Southern Tire was founded in 1920, at the corner of Market St. and Jackson St. in Louisville, KY. Since then, we have been an exclusive Dunlop tire dealer. In 1930 we moved east one block to the corner of Hancock St. and Market St., and are located in the same spot today. Starting as a family owned and operated business then, and we are still owned and operated by the same family four generations later.

We offer free estimates for all our tire services including new tire sales, tire installation, wheel services, tire and tube repair, tire rotation, tire balancing, and TPMS service for all autos and light trucks. For our commercial customers we offer full range of commercial services, including commercial tire sales and service, medium truck retreading, and on site repairs. Fleet customers working with fleet management companies such as Enterprise Fleet Solutions and ARI Fleet can be processed by us. We also service agricultural tires for our farming customers, including field service, calcium and liquid ballast, rim replacement, and carry most sizes of tires and tubes in stock.
